Trumbull County Investment Advisory Committee elects officers, sets quarterly schedule and policies

The Trumbull County Investment Advisory Committee held its organizational session on Jan. 29 and elected officers, adopted membership and record-keeping policies dated Jan. 26, and confirmed meeting logistics for 2026.

Augustino Ragazino, speaking as the county treasurer, was nominated and confirmed as chair. Randy Lawton was nominated and confirmed as vice chair. The committee also moved to nominate Denny Malloy as secretary; the roll call reflected three affirmative votes from Commissioner Tony Bernard, Randy Lawton and Treasurer Augustino Ragazino, with other commissioners absent.

The committee reviewed and adopted membership meetings and recordkeeping policies dated Jan. 26 and then set the 2026 quarterly meeting schedule. The meetings were scheduled for Jan. 29 (this meeting), Apr. 29, Jul. 29 and Oct. 28 at 10 a.m., but to avoid scheduling conflicts the committee agreed to move the Apr., Jul. and Oct. meetings to the previous Wednesday (proposed: 04/22/26, 07/22/26, 10/21/26). Committee staff will reprint the meeting calendar with the updated dates for signatures.

The group also designated the Trumbull County Administration Building, 5th Floor County Commissioners Hearing Room, 160 High Street NW in Warren, Ohio, as the meeting location. The committee then adjourned the organizational portion of the meeting and continued with its regular quarterly session.
