Sussex commissioners approve donation agreement and $150,000 gift from Newton Library Association

The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners on Nov. 26 added and approved a resolution authorizing execution of a revised donation agreement for real property and improvements located at 101 Main Street, Newton (Block 14.03, Lots 19 and 1), and accepted a monetary donation of $150,000 from the Newton Library Association.

During the motion, Commissioner Schick asked the board to remove the word "approximately" from the donation description and to list the amount as $150,000; the board approved the change and then voted to adopt the resolution on roll call.

The resolution as approved authorizes county officials to execute the revised donation agreement.
