Commission approves 100‑foot easement across county culvert to allow new road at 337 S. Aggie Blvd.

Uinta County staff presented and the commission approved an encroachment/easement agreement to allow a construction company to build a road across a county box culvert at 337 S. Aggie Boulevard, adjacent to Tara Academy.

An Unidentified Speaker 9 described the agreement as an encroachment agreement to accommodate a box culvert and said "it's a 100 foot easement across this box culvert." Staff told commissioners that the agreement had been reviewed by county legal (Lauren) and met legal standards. Commissioners discussed that most of the property will be annexed into the city and that the county's jurisdiction is expected to be short term before transfer.

Unidentified Speaker 2 moved to approve the Steininger Service Canal agreement as presented and the commission voted to approve the motion. Public roads and easement recordation were noted as follow‑up tasks for Public Works.
