Dalton mayor reappoints members to Land Bank and Historic Preservation Commission; council goes into executive session

At the Jan. 27 meeting the mayor presented several mayoral appointments that had been missed at an earlier meeting. The council approved the reappointment of Dennis Monk to the Land Bank Authority for a one‑year term expiring Dec. 31, 2026, and the reappointment of Annalise Sams to the Land Bank Authority for the same term. The council also reappointed Steve Farrow to the Historic Preservation Commission for a one‑year term ending Dec. 31, 2026, and appointed Rachel Dosha to fill the unexpired three‑year term of John Hutchison, expiring Feb. 1, 2027.
