Forsyth County to add $1,006 in state registration fees to Perkinson Law Firm contract

Ashley Matthews, clerk to the board, briefed a resolution to amend the county’s contract with Perkinson Law Firm PA to include state registration fees associated with lobbying at the North Carolina General Assembly.

Matthews said the amendment covers $1,006 in total registration fees, broken down as $503 for the principal registration fee and $503 for the lobbyist registration fee. She offered to follow up with commissioners about whether registration fees are shared among a firm’s clients.
