At its Jan. 27 meeting, the Borough of Bridgeport council approved multiple routine resolutions and administrative actions by voice vote.
Council accepted the resignation of Katie Fulmer from the Human Relations Commission, effective Jan. 30, 2026, with members expressing appreciation for her service. The council then approved a resolution authorizing an easement agreement with the River Pointe Townhomes Community Association intended to facilitate planned bridge or trail connections described by council members as a step toward more walkable trails.
Other approved items included establishing 2026 meeting dates for the Small Business and Economic Development Committee and for the Police & Fire Committee; appointment of Code Inspections, Inc. as the borough’s third‑party UCC inspector; approval of a Traffic & Parking Subcommittee recommendation to grant a disabled parking space at 18 West 6th Street; and approval of the borough’s bills and salaries for January 2026.
Most motions were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote; the transcript records no roll‑call tallies or recorded opposition. Where a council member name is cited in the transcript (for example, Ms. Houck moved the bills and salaries approval), that name is reported as stated in the meeting record.
