Senate committee advances bill to let local governments buy buildings through GSA contracts

Senate Bill 795 was advanced out of a senate committee after a recorded 9‑0 vote, a step that will send the measure to the calendar for further consideration. The bill’s sponsor, Chairman Bailey, told the committee the bill "allows local governments to be able to purchase, buildings from the GSA, contract that's offered, through, through the GSA program."
