Kirkland Planning Commission elects Angela Rosman chair; Aaron Jacobson named vice chair

The Kirkland Planning Commission held an out‑of‑cycle election at the start of its meeting and unanimously elected Commissioner Angela Rosman as chair, with Aaron Jacobson confirmed as vice chair.

The vote followed an announcement that Chair Ronnie Rutherford had resigned the officer role but would remain on the commission. Commissioner Aronson moved to nominate Rosman for chair and the motion was seconded; commissioners then discussed timing and recent council action to extend expiring board and commission terms until June.
