The commissioner (identified in the transcript as Speaker 2) said he had enjoyed working with fellow commissioners and county staff over five years and expected a suitable replacement within a month. "I do have, an announcement, which is that I am resigning my position as a county commissioner effective at 03:00 today... I'm gonna be accepting the position this afternoon as the clerk treasurer for the city of Logansport," the commissioner said.
