Elections Committee approves nominees on tabs 2–15 in single consolidated vote

The Senate Elections Committee approved all nominees listed on tabs 2 through 15 in a single consolidated vote after no senator requested separate hearings or roll-call votes for individual nominees.

Chair Gates introduced the confirmation package supplied to members in advance and asked whether any senator wished to have any nominee considered separately. When no separate requests were made, Senator Grohl moved to approve all nominees on tabs 2 through 15 and Senator Avila seconded the motion.

The committee clerk called the roll on the consolidated motion; senators recorded affirmative votes and the chair announced the nominees were approved and would be reported favorably to the Senate. The transcript records the motion as adopted by voice/roll call with all present senators recorded as voting yes. The transcript contains inconsistent naming for one entry (one senator is referred to by two variant spellings in different parts of the record); the committee clerk's roll call ultimately recorded affirmative votes sufficient to approve the slate.

What it means: The committee forwarded the entire package of nominees to the full Senate without separate debate or amendment. The package covered tabs 2 through 15 (14 nominees provided to committee members in advance).
