Sioux City Board approves consent items, calendar and contracts; votes at a glance

The Sioux City Board of Education completed routine business and several formal actions at its Dec. 8 meeting in the ESE Boardroom.

- Moore Corporate Law Firm billing rates for 01/01/2026–12/31/2028 approved 7–0; board noted rates had not changed from the prior contract.
- Contract to support student learning and activities (movers Vanderloo and Mosier) approved 7–0.
- Meeting adjourned by voice vote.

Each formal action was recorded during the meeting; the board directed staff to follow up on implementation and budget details for newly added priorities. For the priorities package, staff is expected to present implementation plans and budget estimates at upcoming meetings.
