Columbiana council approves package of rezones and annexation for multiple parcels

The Columbiana City Council voted to approve a package of rezoning ordinances and the annexation of a parcel on Queen Road, the council confirmed during its regular meeting.

The council suspended its regular meeting to hold a public hearing on several properties proposed for pre-zoning from 'no zoning' to R‑1 (single-family residential) and RMH (manufactured home residential) where applicable. A representative of Top Wing Partners told the council the company owns 57 acres on Queen Road and is seeking annexation and rezoning to subdivide part of the parcel into eight residential lots.
