Madison County’s Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a slate of routine resolutions at its regular meeting.
The board voted to approve payout of accrued personal and vacation time to Carrie Barber as part of her transition from employee to elected official. The motion was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
Supervisors also approved the Department of Natural Resources construction evaluation required for manure‑management reporting, which a board member noted was a recurring, required submission and not tied to any confinement expansion.
The board approved an Iowa Department of Transportation Federal Aid Agreement for a city highway bridge program project, a measure connected to a separate roads department presentation describing a $1.5 million grant secured for a Paterson bridge replacement. Supervisors voted aye on that agreement.
Additional routine motions passed by voice vote included approval of a tax abatement for a late mobile‑home credit (specific VIN on file) and approving an elderly credit for a parcel listed in meeting documents.
The board took each vote in sequence; no roll‑call tallies were given on the record and each motion was announced as carried after the chair called for ayes and received verbal affirmative responses.
The meeting adjourned following routine board reports and discussion.
