Council adopts resolution and passes bag‑fee ordinance; other routine business completed

Denver City Council also completed several other items on its Dec. 22 agenda. Council Resolution 25 15 83, a fourth amendatory agreement noted on the record, was adopted after a roll call; Council member Amanda Lewis announced she would vote no on that resolution due to continuing concerns about the organization involved. Later, Council Bill 2,009 — an ordinance amending Denver Revised Municipal Code section 2–4–428 to change the permitted uses of the disposable bag fee fund — passed on final consideration with an 11‑aye roll call. Council member Lewis reiterated a no vote on the bill, citing process and concerns about permanently altering a special revenue fund.
