Council passes multiple bills, amends Broadway pedestrian‑mall assessments and confirms safety manager

The Denver City Council completed a busy legislative session, taking votes on a series of bills and resolutions across finance, transportation, parks and maintenance‑district business.

Key votes and actions included:
• Council Resolution 18 18 (fifth amendatory agreement with LADASA Services Inc. for HIV/AIDS care): adopted (9 ayes, 1 abstention by Councilmember Gonzalez Gutierrez). (see discussion and roll call)
