House sends two bills to be engrossed and adjourns to reconvene Thursday

The House recorded the release of two bills from the committee on bills on third reading and passed both bills to be engrossed by voice vote.

House No. 862, an act regarding the recall of elected officers in the town of Sharon, was read and the Chair put the question for passage; members responded by saying "aye," and the bill was passed to be engrossed. Similarly, House No. 4399, an act further amending the charter of the town of Middleton, was read and passed to be engrossed by voice vote.

Following the third-reading actions, the Clerk read an order that the House adjourn to meet Thursday next at 11:00 a.m.; the order was adopted by voice vote. Mister Smoller of Warren then moved that the House stand adjourned; the motion carried by voice vote and the House stood adjourned to meet Thursday next at 11:00 a.m. in an informal session.
