Outgoing grants chair Leila to help transition after six years of service

During the meeting the commission acknowledged outgoing grants chair Leila’s six years of service. Leila said she feels "very good about the state that everything is in, having seen this whole thing for the last 6 years," and noted she and colleagues Paul and Jard will meet to plan the transition and build out a schedule for the next grant cycle.

Commissioners thanked Leila for her leadership and service; Leila said she will continue assisting by reading grant applications during the transition. The chair presented a small retirement token and the commission offered brief remarks of appreciation.
