Planning Commission approves Dec. 18, 2025 minutes and related resolutions

The Santa Barbara City Planning Commission approved the minutes from its Dec. 18, 2025 meeting and related resolutions (packet references 01425 and 01525) during the Jan. 15, 2026 hearing. The motion passed by roll call vote: Commissioner Wardlow — Yes; Commissioner Peterson — Yes; Commissioner Barnwell — abstain (stated he was not present at the Dec. 18 hearing); Commissioner Whiskum — Abstain; Vice Chair DeLucio — Yes; Chair Boss — Yes.

The abstentions were explained on the record (one commissioner said they were not at the Dec. 18 meeting). Staff noted and will correct several typographical and reference errors in the draft resolutions so they match the show packet and staff hearing officer findings before final filing. The commission did not take any further action on those items at this hearing and then moved on to a staff presentation on a draft wastewater and water systems climate adaptation plan.
