Commission appoints Kristen Roussell to Christian County library board

The Christian County Commission announced and unanimously approved the appointment of Kristen Roussell to the Ozark seat on the Christian County Board of Trustees (library).

Commission staff said six applicants were interviewed for the vacancy; commissioners privately submitted ranked ballots and staff tabulated the results. "We have a unanimous vote for Kristen Roussell," a county official announced during the meeting.

A motion to appoint Roussell was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote. County staff said they will notify the new trustee and contact the other applicants to thank them for applying.

Commissioners praised the quality of the applicant pool and encouraged continued community involvement in county boards and volunteer opportunities.
