Historic District Commission sets regular meeting time at 5 p.m.

The New Shoreham Historic District Commission voted to set its regular meeting time at 5:00 p.m. for the coming year. Members discussed the value of a single, consistent start time so clerks and attendees have a predictable schedule, and staff confirmed that September’s meeting would be moved to avoid a Jewish holiday conflict.

Commission staff requested that all meetings be scheduled at the same time each month; members discussed alternatives (4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m.) and settled on 5 p.m. as the preferred choice. The clerk said she would circulate the finalized calendar after checking for conflicts and making the September change.

The decision was procedural and will be reflected in the annual meeting calendar circulated to members and posted with meeting notices.
