Whitestown Redevelopment Commission elects officers for the year

The Town of Whitestown Redevelopment Commission elected Mark Pascarella president, Adam Hess vice president and Cheryl Hancock secretary during its meeting. All three nominations were approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.

Cheryl Hancock nominated Mark Pascarella for president, a nomination that was seconded and approved unanimously. Adam Hess was nominated for vice president despite his absence from the meeting and the commission approved that nomination as well. Nathan Messer moved for Cheryl Hancock to serve as secretary; that motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.

The meeting approved the previous meeting’s minutes by acclamation. The chair welcomed the newly seated commissioners and said the commission will hold an executive-session briefing before the next meeting to bring new members up to speed on outstanding commitments and procedures.

The commission took these actions at the outset of its agenda; no contested votes or dissenting remarks were recorded during the leadership elections.
