Zoning board schedules special Feb. 3 meeting to hear Sandtown emblem appeal

During new business on Jan. 15 the Zoning Board of Appeals voted to defer an appeal related to the Sandtown emblem and several parcel IDs to a specially called meeting on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.

A board member moved to defer the appeal of the Sandtown emblem (parcel IDs cited during the motion included 14F0109 LL1137, 14F0109 LL0311 and 14F0108 LL0205) to the specially called meeting. The motion was seconded, the board voted aye by voice vote and the chair confirmed the Feb. 3 meeting date.

Planning staff will publish the special meeting notice and agenda and notify the parties involved. The transcript records the motion and the set meeting date but does not include a roll-call tally for the vote.

The special meeting will be the next procedural step for that appeal; no new testimony on that appeal was recorded in the Jan. 15 meeting.
