Oskaloosa mayor and council members sworn in; consent agenda, appointments pass unanimously

David Kreutzfeldt was sworn in as mayor of Oskaloosa on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, taking the oath to support the U.S. and Iowa constitutions and to 'discharge the duties of mayor in Oskaloosa, Iowa.'

Council members Janet Hermson and Andy Homburg also took oaths of office during the organizational portion of the meeting; the transcript records another oath administered to a member identified in the record as 'Jam and Sword.'
