At the Jan. 7 Pembroke Park workshop, Battalion Chief Michael Cain and Police representative Dan DeCourcy delivered their respective monthly summaries.
Cain reported November 2025 fire statistics for Pembroke Park: 193 total calls including eight structure fires, 12 vehicle accidents, 15 highway accidents, 19 fire alarms, 126 medical calls and 13 service calls. Cain said he could not specify exact locations for the structure fires during the verbal presentation and noted many “structure” classifications can include small household incidents such as a pot left on a stove.
Dan DeCourcy presented the police report for the period (roughly Nov. 20–Dec. 20), citing recognitions for officers by the Broward Chiefs of Police Association, community outreach events, interagency training exercises and operational statistics: 42 traffic incidents, 50 alarm calls, 3 burglaries, 64 traffic stops, 6 total arrests (4 felonies, 2 misdemeanors), 78 citations and 11 warnings, generating roughly 1,482 total service calls for the period. DeCourcy invited questions and received none that materially altered the summary.
Both departments closed by offering to provide further details on request.
