Rankin County board votes down adding RFP for county-owned hospital to agenda

Speaker 1 moved to add an item asking the county to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for a county-owned hospital in Sibley; Speaker 2 seconded the motion. The board conducted a voice vote that produced one aye and four nays, and the motion failed for lack of an affirmative majority.
