Montezuma County commissioners approve minutes and consent agenda; staff deny community-center sale rumor

The Montezuma County Board of County Commissioners voted to approve the proceedings from its Jan. 6, 2026 meeting and accepted a consent agenda at its Jan. 13 meeting.

Commissioner Copeny moved to approve the Jan. 6 proceedings; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The consent agenda — previewed by the presiding speaker and discussed in a prior workshop — included a one-day revision to the county holiday schedule, continued use of the TASC contract the county has used for years, HUTF funding with no changes from the prior year, and the appointment of advisory-board members as seats rotated.
