ICJA training: five common mistakes that cost Illinois grant applicants their funding

Required items called out include maintaining an active SAM.gov unique entity identifier, having a valid federal employer identification number, and holding a current certificate of good standing for corporations or LLCs. He also warned that organizations listed on federal or state sanction or stop-pay lists will be ineligible, and advised applicants to monitor their prequalification status in the GATA portal so any red or yellow flags can be resolved promptly.

Missing documents in the NOFO was named another common rejection cause.
