Planning board approves minutes, accepts withdrawal and schedules continuances

The Quincy Planning Board handled several procedural items at its Jan. 14 meeting. The board approved the minutes from the Dec. 17, 2025 meeting by voice vote. The board also accepted a request to withdraw the application for 42 Beale Street without prejudice after Attorney Rob Fleming presented a withdrawal letter from the applicant (SEG 063-076; motion and vote SEG 078-084).

Attorney Patrick Foley requested a continuance for the 46 Bates matter; the board agreed to continue that case to Feb. 11 (SEG 094-104). Later in the evening the board approved continuances to March 11 for the 4 South Street and 333 Victory Road cases to allow applicants to respond to staff and peer-review comments and to provide supplemental materials, including landscape plans and technical clarifications (SEG 723-731; SEG 2536-2541).

The board also reminded members to expect an email about required state conflict-of-interest and ethics training and then adjourned after a final motion (SEG 2556-2581; motion to adjourn SEG 2592-2596).
