Charlotte County Planning and Zoning Board elects officers and notes affordable housing vacancy

During the same meeting, the Planning and Zoning Board conducted its officer elections. Staff explained the process (motion, second, discussion, vote). Board Member (speaker 2) nominated Clint Baker for chair; the nomination was seconded and staff announced a unanimous voice vote electing Baker as chair. A nomination and unanimous voice vote followed to elect Steven Viera as vice chair. Philip Smallwood was nominated and unanimously elected secretary.

After the elections the presiding member noted a vacancy on the affordable housing committee formerly held by "Mr. Ravinson" (name varies in the transcript) and asked any interested board members to consider applying; an application was available. The presiding member then adjourned the meeting.
