Planning commission seats alternate Paul Sullivan, amends agenda and names CRCOG alternate

The commission seated its newest alternate, Paul Sullivan, as a regular voting member for the meeting because two regular commissioners were absent.

Speaker 6 moved to amend the agenda to add an item to identify an alternate representative to the Capital Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) Regional Planning Commission; the motion was seconded and commissioners approved the amendment unanimously. After a brief discussion of CRCOG's quarterly Zoom meetings and the work of the regional planning commission, a nomination was made for "Nick" to serve as the town's alternate representative; the nomination carried unanimously.

The amendment and nominations were procedural steps the commission said are intended to ensure the town has a designated representative at upcoming CRCOG meetings. The commission did not take any substantive CRCOG policy positions at the meeting.
