Council approves consent agenda including easements, vehicle purchases and window bid change

The council approved its consent agenda (items C1–C10) on Jan. 8. Consent items included acceptance of a right‑of‑way easement from Ivy Print and Signs LLC (7250 54th Street North), acceptance of a utility easement from Pinellas Animal Hospital Bird Clinic Inc (7791 52nd Street North), portions of the FY2025‑26 appropriation ordinance, authorization to purchase under Florida Sheriffs Association contract a new pothole (Patrick Asphalt) truck and authorization to purchase a new Pierce pumper fire truck under specified contract, a rescind of the lowest bidder for a window/door replacement and award to the second lowest bidder, and other routine procurement items.

Council approved the consent agenda without discussion and voted by electronic system; the motion carried unanimously.
