Board recognizes custodial and registrar staff for service and community programs

The board honored two staff members for contributions to the district and community. A presenter praised custodian Andrew McCassel for his loyalty, professionalism and steady service, noting he "never complains" and brings smiles to people’s faces.

The board also recognized Linda Bowen, the middle-school registrar, for work beyond her job description: stocking a school clothes closet, filling out grants, and organizing a Christmas blessing-box program for families. The presenter said the blessing-box effort produced about 40 boxes that benefited roughly 240 children and their younger siblings and credited Bowen with about 95% of the effort.

Board members and the superintendent thanked both staff members publicly; no formal action beyond recognition was recorded.
