Committee approves identical amendments across four JEA agreements to correct pay range increase to 3%

The committee unanimously approved identical amendments across four JEA bills to correct language in the board agenda memorandum and the JEA board resolution so the Professional Employees Association (PEA) maximum pay‑range increase reads 3% rather than 2.5%.

Philip Peterson told the committee that the same Exhibit 1 appears in each JEA agreement and that the amendment aligns the documents with the correct 3% pay‑range increase. Each amendment was offered, seconded, and approved on the floor, after which the committee moved each bill as amended; each bill recorded a 6–0 vote in favor.

Why it matters: these are housekeeping corrections that align the written exhibits with negotiated terms for the PEA. While procedural, they affect the payroll authorization language that the JEA board will rely on.
