Lycoming County group elects officers, approves expenditures and two personnel hires

Chair Metzger assumed the chair after the board opened nominations and approved a slate of officers by voice vote. The group then approved the previous meeting minutes and accepted expenditure reports without objection.

Quentin Ferguson was presented as a full‑time correctional officer relief at the prison and Brian Solomon as a full‑time resident supervisor at the prerelease center. Speaker 4 moved the personnel actions forward; Speaker 2 made the motion to approve and Speaker 3 seconded, and the body recorded an affirmative voice vote to approve the two appointments.

The meeting packet included the standard expenditure and personnel reports. No public commenters addressed these agenda items during the public comment period for agenda items. The board set its next meeting for Feb. 13, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in the same meeting room.
