Gerlach CAB approves minutes, hears resignations and adjourns

The Gerlach Citizen Advisory Board approved the minutes of the Dec. 11, 2025 meeting after a motion and second. The motion was moved by a board member (recorded as speaker S3) and seconded by Brandy; the chair called the motion and recorded "Aye" responses from board members present.

Chair Russell Byerly reported that Luis Garcia resigned his CAB seat after moving out of the area and that Commissioner Herman will appoint a replacement from new applicants or an existing alternate. Interested residents were directed to apply online via the Washoe County vacancy application page.

A motion to adjourn was made near the meeting's close and carried after recorded "Aye" responses. The chair closed the meeting with reminders to sign the attendance sheet and to drive safely.
