Walker Planning Commission elects officers, sets next meeting

The Walker Planning Commission used part of its Jan. 7 meeting to elect internal officers for the coming period. Members nominated and elected Terry to continue serving as chair/president and Jacob as vice chair; a motion to appoint Tom as secretary was also moved, seconded and approved by voice votes. The commission scheduled its next meeting for Jan. 21, 2026; the agenda will include a special-use item for an all-star cheerleading facility.

Commissioners noted continuity of service by long-tenured members and thanked those who volunteer time for commission duties.
