At a glance: Trustees approve Dec. 11 minutes and trustees’ annual report for town report

The Brentwood Cemetery Trustees recorded two formal actions at their Jan. 8 meeting:

1) Acceptance of Dec. 11 meeting minutes — Motion passed. The board moved and seconded acceptance of the Dec. 11, 2025 minutes as printed; trustees voted "Aye," and no opposition or abstentions were recorded during the meeting.

2) Approval of trustees’ paragraph for the town annual report — Motion passed. Trustees agreed to remove an unintended quoted sentence from paragraph 5 of the draft and then moved and seconded to accept the superintendent’s text for submission to the town administrator; the motion carried by voice vote with no dissent recorded.

Both actions were routine procedural matters recorded in the meeting minutes; trustees said they will remove the draft copy from the packet and the chair will update the website once minutes are finalized.
