Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority names Marion Green chair, Jeff Lundy vice chair

The Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority met Jan. 6 for its organizational meeting and elected Commissioner Marion Green as chair and Commissioner Jeff Lundy as vice chair.

Green was nominated and confirmed by voice vote; she thanked members and highlighted 2025 milestones on the Green Line and work with the Metropolitan Council on the Blue Line extension. Lundy, the new vice chair, said "This is the year of the blue line," noting an upcoming decision point for the project.
