Board approves Edgewater stormwater bid notice, proposes 80/20 split with Little Cal Commission

Crown Point staff briefed the board on Jan. 7 that the Edgewater stormwater project design and bidding have been approved by the Little Cal Commission and requested authorization to publish a notice to bidders.

"We're looking to put the notice out to bidders who'll run it, for 30 days twice," staff (Greg) said, adding the city would use the same 80/20 split used on prior projects with the commission. Greg said staff will present bid results and a recommendation at the board's February works meeting. The board moved, seconded and approved issuing the notice and the 80/20 cost-sharing approach by voice vote.

No engineer's estimate was disclosed at the meeting; staff said they would "let the bids come back" and proceed accordingly. The board did not record individual roll-call votes for the approval.
