Resource Management Committee approves multiple board appointments and reappointments

Bridal Rigby Realy, Clerk of the Board, presented several appointments at the Allegany County Resource Management Committee meeting and the committee approved each by voice vote.

Appointments announced and approved included: William Meniere as legislative representative and Charlie Passett as alternate legislative member on the Fish and Wildlife Management Board (two‑year terms); Robert Jones as the sportsman representative and Joseph Herdman as the alternate; Gretchen Hanchett and Kevin Fred Demick as legislative members of the Soil and Water Conservation District Board for one‑year terms; James Dowd of Angelica to fill the remainder of an unexpired three‑year Grange term (effective 01/01/2026 through 12/31/2026); and the reappointment of Rodney Bennett to an at‑large three‑year Soil and Water term.

Motions and seconds for the items were recorded by members and each vote was carried by voice. The clerk invited motions and members responded with routine voice approvals; no roll call tallies were recorded beyond noting seven members present at the meeting.

The meeting concluded after the appointments when members moved, seconded and carried a motion to adjourn.
