San Diego County supervisors set organizational session Jan. 13; 12 items on agenda

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors will hold a general legislative session on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at the County Administration Center, where the board will consider 12 agenda items, the county said. An organizational session starting at 9 a.m. will include the selection of the board’s chair, vice chair and chair pro tem for 2026.

The preview noted six items will appear on the consent agenda — described as routine items — and that one of those requires formal board action. Six additional items are listed on the discussion agenda for the Jan. 13 meeting.

A separate land use session is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 14; the host said that session will include six agenda items, with two on the consent agenda and four slated for discussion.

"You can see the full agendas at sandiegocounty.gov/cob," an unidentified host said, and directed viewers to the county website for links to meeting materials. The host also advised residents that they may watch the meetings live, submit comments or sign up to speak online via the county’s website.

The county’s preview did not list specific ordinances, resolutions or items under consideration. The organizational officer selection and the composition of the consent and discussion agendas will be decided when the board convenes on Jan. 13; outcomes for specific agenda items were not specified in the preview.
