Council awards culvert rehabilitation contract for Middleton Road and Providence Avenue, not to exceed $220,400

Public works director Jason Van Gilder described a trenchless culvert rehabilitation using a cast‑in‑place polymer liner (a slip‑line cured in place by ultraviolet light) for two culverts at Middleton Road and Providence Avenue. Van Gilder said the method is less intrusive than full replacement, keeps traffic open during work and had been publicly bid; engineers recommended Integrity Inspection Solutions as the lowest qualified bidder and the project is budgeted.

Council moved and seconded to authorize the mayor to award the contract to Integrity Inspection Solutions for an amount not to exceed $220,400. The motion passed and council then recorded individual 'yes' responses during a roll‑call affirmation.

Van Gilder said the contractor's schedule and the project's timeline are available on the city's website; the work will avoid full road closures and use UV curing for the liner.
