Public hearing set Thursday for 344 9th Street land-use amendment and rezoning

City planner Nicole informed the council that a public hearing will be held Thursday on a land-use amendment and rezoning request for 344 9th Street, a parcel related to the Carriage Quorum project approved in 2020.

Nicole said city staff have been meeting regularly with the development group and that the application is becoming more active. If the council moves forward on Thursday, follow-up steps would include a final plat and updated preliminary and final site development plans with details on parking, landscaping and site layout.

Nicole asked councilmembers whether they had questions in advance of the public hearing; staff will present draft concepts and architectural design standards during the hearing and return with subsequent materials if the project proceeds.
