Council approves agricultural board appointments and recognizes permit technician of the year

The Harford County Council approved appointments to the Agricultural Land Preservation Advisory Board during the meeting. Council President Vincente moved to appoint Mitchell Hopkins and David Daugherty and to reappoint Megan McMillan, Jocelyn Trout Smithson and William Amos; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote with seven ayes and no negatives.

Separately, the council presented a proclamation recognizing Emily Dickey, Department of Inspections, Licensing and Permits, as the Maryland Building Officials Association's 2025 Permit Technician of the Year.
