Supervisors flag Hidden Valley Levee deterioration and Morgan Valley Road slide; Central Park tax issue noted

Supervisor 5 told colleagues that Central Park trustees have been confronted with tax-related issues and that they planned to attend a meeting where those matters will be discussed.

On infrastructure, Supervisor 5 said the Hidden Valley Levee has been deteriorating and that the Morgan Valley Road has experienced a slide. "I need to check the Hidden Valley Levee, for the deterioration that's been going on there," Supervisor 5 said, and added that they had been out to inspect and had emailed county staff, naming a contact as "Trevor."

Supervisor 5 also tied the infrastructure concerns to recent storm-related impacts, noting Lower Lake sewer issues and a Cache Creek warning. No engineering reports, repair schedules, cost estimates or emergency declarations were presented during the supervisor reports; the comments were framed as supervisor-level notifications to staff and the board.

Next steps: supervisors indicated staff follow-up is required; no formal direction, motion or budget action was made on the floor at this meeting.
