Staff explained the operator is looking for a temporary staging area where loads can be assembled before transport to a grinder/composter; the council heard details on the existing contract with a hauler and current practice for tree- and wood-waste removal. PJ, the contractor on hand, described logistics: two 40-yard containers removed twice daily and a plan to haul the material to a receiving site where it will be mixed with organic material for fertilizer.

Council approved a motion authorizing the mayor to negotiate and sign an agreement, with conditions that material placed on the site must meet the city's state-permit specifications (no treated or chemical wood), the city may immediately terminate the agreement if the licensee fails to comply, and any damage or off-site debris must be cleaned by the licensee within 48 hours.
