Soil and Water supervisor offers Morgan County commissioners a White River watershed briefing

Stan Dimon, who identified himself as a supervisor on the Soil and Water Conservation District, addressed the Morgan County Board of Commissioners during public comment and offered a volunteer presentation on the White River Water Basin.

Dimon described having compiled information on the watershed and said he would volunteer his time and draw on a recent county water study to increase commissioners’ understanding of local aquifer behavior and upstream impacts. He said the presentation would take roughly 30 to 45 minutes and offered to deliver it at a time convenient for the commissioners.

The board thanked Dimon for his offer and acknowledged the value of local watershed expertise. No action was recorded beyond the expression of appreciation and an invitation to follow up.

Ending: Commissioners encouraged coordination with staff to schedule the presentation and indicated they welcomed the additional information.
