Board members congratulate district educators; Dr. Archer and Dr. Williams highlighted

During board comments, members recognized district-affiliated educators and community contributors.

One board member congratulated "Dr. David Archer, now at the high school," on defending his PhD and being awarded the degree. Another member highlighted that Dr. Tamara Williams was recognized as an educator/educational administrator of the year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Capital Omega chapter, and praised district and community support for advancing local leaders.

Board members framed the acknowledgments as examples of the district producing local leaders and encouraged continued supports for training and information sharing among board members. The recognitions were part of the routine board-comments portion of the meeting and did not lead to formal actions.
