Perry County commissioners voted Dec. 31 to approve two claim dockets and correct an earlier-printed total after staff confirmed a valet-parking charge had been removed.
Speaker 1, the meeting’s presiding official, presented the solid-waste claim docket for Dec. 31, 2025, in the amount of $17,789.19; Speaker 2 moved to approve and Speaker 3 seconded. The board voted unanimously to approve the item.
Later in the meeting Speaker 1 brought forward the larger claim docket for Dec. 31, 2025 and questioned whether an old printed copy still contained a $59-per-day valet-parking line. Speaker 4 confirmed that valet parking had been removed from the docket and reported the corrected total as $693,827.77. "That total is correct," Speaker 1 said during the review. Speaker 3 moved to approve the corrected docket and Speaker 1 seconded; the vote to approve was unanimous.
The commissioners did not alter the approved totals after the correction and did not attach additional conditions to the payments. The adjustment reflects clerical correction rather than a change in the underlying invoices or spending authorizations.
The board moved on to other agenda items after the votes; the next regular meeting was set for Jan. 5 at 9:00 a.m.
