Crawford County commissioners approved several contracts and administrative items during their Dec. 9 meeting.
Speaker 6 described the Trex collections arrangement used to capture unpaid balances via state income-tax refunds and said the county pays a $3 per‑letter fee for notices; the board approved a letter of agreement with the vendor by motion and voice vote.
A Purdue University extension-service contract was presented for $53,500 to continue previously provided services; a motion to approve that contract was made and seconded.
The commissioners reviewed an interlocal agreement to share Harrison County riverboat revenue. The board approved the interlocal agreement by motion and voice vote.
Speaker 5 presented an amended ordinance to add one additional designated purchasing/procurement agent — the EMS director — to the county’s purchasing-authority list. The amendment was moved, seconded and approved; the ordinance was referenced with today's date (12/09/2025) as the ordinance number.
Finally, county staff and a tower-point-of-contact described a temporary modification to the county tower requested by T‑Mobile (through TSC): placement of a microwave dish for up to 90 days while T‑Mobile reroutes a fiber line. The company said it will comply with non‑interference clauses and applicable regulations; the commissioners approved the temporary authorization and the president of the board will sign the agreement.
Next steps: county staff will finalize and sign the approved contracts and agreements and file the amended ordinance as adopted.
